Genealogy Club: Meets the second Friday of each month at 12:30pm. This group is open to anyone interested in collaborating with others about genealogy. There is a small annual fee for using the computer research website.
Hand in Foot Cards: These card players meet on Fridays at 12:30pm in the Dining Room. If you are interested in playing with the group, stop by on a Friday. House rules apply.
Mexican Train Dominoes: These domino players meet each Tuesday from 12:30-2:30pm in the Dining Room. Instruction on how to play is available.
Pinochle Tournaments: Each Wednesday at 12:00pm a Pinochle Tournament is played in the Dining Room. If you would like to play, please come in the morning around 9:00am in order to be assigned to a table. House rules apply. Anyone interested in learning how our seniors play is welcome to stop by. Written rules are available upon request. Also, on any given day there are pinochle players available to talk to or play with here at the Center.
Billiards: The Billiards Room is open daily for play and social time. Stay for lunch after a game and enjoy the Center's delicious meals.
Open Bridge: These card players meet on Fridays at 9:00am in the Dining Room for Open Bridge. All who play Bridge are welcome!
Wise Owl Book Club: This book club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Kelleher Room at 12:30pm. If you are an avid reader that enjoys discussing a variety of books, this group is probably for you! Marian Bradtke facilitates our book club.
Scribblers Group: This is a writing group made up of people who want to pass on memories to their families. These scribblers meet every 2nd Monday at 12:30pm in the Kelleher Room. You are welcome to join this safe, non-threatening, and fun memoir-writing group. No prior experience is necessary. Ruth Daughaday is the facilitator and will be glad to answer any questions you might have. If you are interested, bring your memories, pen, and paper to our next meeting!
Knit Wits Class: This class meets on Fridays from 1:00-2:30 in our Library. If you enjoy knitting or crocheting with like-minded needle-crafters, then come join this class! Experienced leaders are available for assistance.
Bingo: O-74! To all our Bingo players, Bingo is played every Monday at 12:30pm in the Dining Room. It is sponsored by WoodmenLife, the VFW, American Legion and Brookdale at Murray.
Sew Connections: This group is sponsored by Quilt Lovers, and meets at our Center on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00. Anyone who enjoys machine or hand quilting, knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, etc., is invited to attend. Bring your own project to work on while visiting with and learning from others.
